Job Responsibilities :
* Responsible for project planning, estimations, project tracking, quality aspects for major and minor releases as per release schedules.
* The individual’s primary responsibilities include proactive thought leadership supporting end-to-end data as a service architecture.
* This position requires candidate to demonstrate expert level Data ILM . This position will require interacting with Development engineering managers, QA & Integration specialists. This candidate must have expert level development of DaaS Architectural components (design, coding, testing), system/subsystem definition, interfaces, technical leadership and team guidance.
* This position requires extensive hands-on technical expertise coupled with ingenuity, ecommerce platform domain expertise, associated technology product knowledge, broad industry knowledge and excellent communication skills.
Skills/ Qualifications Required :
* Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work with others at all levels and be effective at working with culturally diverse teams
* Experience building high performance, scalable relational & non-relational Data Models and DB’s including , MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB and ability to support relational & non-relational data co-existing SQL & NO-SQL.
* Extensive experience with PaaS and DaaS technologies & services, capable of SWOT analysis
* Experience working in heterogeneous database implementations (MS SQL, Oracle, PostGres, MySQL)
* Experience with development and enforcement of standards and guidelines for database design and access and latest Data Virtualization, Big data and Hadoop for traditional SQL users
* Familiar With Agile Development Methodologies
Technological skills Required :
Java, J2EE, ERP, web 2.0 systems, RESTful services (REST, SOAP), XML, Messaging, Client server architecture, familiarity with UNIX environments, high availability, RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL), OODB or OO software’s like Hibernate, JBoss, Tomcat, familiarity with load testing, Vulnerability assessments, exposure to SDLC ‘s, hands on experience in source code management tools (ClearCase, CVS, SVN, Git etc), Bug Tracking & Collaboration – Bugzilla, ClearQuest, BaseCampt, Jira, Continuous integration & Build management, End to end know-how of LAMP stack, RoR stack or Python stack, experience in working with UX/UI designers.
Educational Qualification : Bachelors or Masters Degree In Computer Science Engineering.
Experience : 8 plus years experience required in, modeling, software development, expert level of programming, design, and analysis required
